You can delete your GruuvyPay account at any time from within the app or by contacting our support team.
Delete from the app

Open GruuvyPay and log in to your account.

Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation (bottom right corner).

Scroll down and tap Account Settings.

Tap Delete Account.

Enter your PIN to confirm.
- 6
Your account will be scheduled for deletion.
What happens when you delete your account
- Your wallet balance must be withdrawn or transferred to another account before deletion can be processed.
- Your personal data will be deleted within 90 days of your deletion request.
- Transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by CBN regulations.
- Your @GruuvyTag will become permanently unavailable.
- You will lose access to your wallet and transaction history.
Delete by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
Send an email to support@gruuvypay.com with:
- Subject: Account Deletion Request
- Body: Include your registered email address and phone number.
We will process your request within 48 hours.
