Your BVN is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and is never stored in plaintext. We use industry-standard encryption and a separate key management service.
Steps to verify

Open GruuvyPay and log in.

Tap the Profile tab (bottom right).

Tap Verify Identity or KYC Verification.

Select Tier 1 — BVN Verification.

Enter your 11-digit BVN.

Enter the OTP sent to the phone number linked to your BVN.

Verification is usually instant. You may see 'Pending' for up to 24 hours.
